What Makes Global Talent Different

The Global Talent visa is one of the UK's most flexible routes. You don't need a sponsor, a job offer, or a business plan — you need endorsement (or an eligible prestigious prize) proving you're a leader or potential leader in your field.

The route splits into fields: academia and research (endorsed by the British Academy, Royal Society, Royal Academy of Engineering or UKRI), arts and culture (Arts Council England), and digital technology.

Successful applicants get exceptional freedom — you can work, change jobs, be self-employed or start a company. Settlement is possible after three or five years depending on the route.
