Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of this website and our services — written as clearly as we can manage, because that's what we do.
Last updated: [DATE — insert before launch]
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website or engaging ImmigrationPass's services, you accept these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or our services.
These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Where you become a client, the written engagement terms and quote provided for your specific matter also apply and, in the event of any conflict about the services themselves, take precedence.
2. Website Use
General information only
The content of this website is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
No affiliation with the Home Office
ImmigrationPass is an independent UK immigration support service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Home Office or UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Official government guidance is available at gov.uk.
Accuracy and availability
Immigration rules and fees change frequently and without notice. While we aim to keep website content accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that it reflects the rules at any given moment. Always check gov.uk for the latest requirements. We may change, suspend or withdraw the website at any time.
Intellectual property
The content of this website — including text, design and graphics — belongs to ImmigrationPass and may not be reproduced without our written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.
3. Our Services
ImmigrationPass provides immigration advice and services regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). [Insert ImmigrationPass's regulatory status and IAA registration number here before launch.]
Our services typically include: assessing your circumstances, identifying relevant immigration routes, advising on requirements, and supporting the preparation of applications. All decisions on applications rest solely with the Home Office.
Submitting an enquiry through this website, or attending an initial consultation, does not create an adviser–client relationship. That relationship begins only when you accept a written quote and engagement terms for your matter.
4. No Guaranteed Outcomes
We never guarantee that any application will be approved, and we do not claim any particular success rate. We can help you understand the relevant requirements and prepare your application, but all decisions rest solely with the Home Office.
If any person or organisation guarantees you a successful immigration outcome, you should treat that claim with serious caution.
5. Consultations & Written Quotes
Initial consultations are charged at the fee set out on our Fees page, payable in advance unless agreed otherwise.
Before any substantive work begins on your matter, we provide a written quote setting out the scope of work and the fee. No work will begin, and no fee beyond the consultation will be payable, until you have accepted the quote in writing.
If the scope of your matter changes Passrially — for example, if new complexities emerge — we will discuss any revised fee with you before additional work is carried out.
6. Fees & Payment
- Our professional fees are separate from, and in addition to, Home Office application fees, the Immigration Health Surcharge and any third-party costs (such as translation or tribunal fees).
- Home Office fees are set by the government and are always paid by you directly to the Home Office.
- Third-party costs are charged separately by the relevant providers.
Our professional fees are payable regardless of the outcome of your application, because they reflect the work performed rather than the decision made.
Refund policy
[Insert refund policy before launch — for example: consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place; fees for uncommenced work under an accepted quote may be refundable in part, less reasonable costs already incurred.]
7. Your Responsibilities
To help us help you, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and truthful information, including your full immigration history.
- Provide documents and information within reasonable timescales.
- Tell us promptly about anything that may affect your matter, including changes in your circumstances.
- Not rely on this website's general information as a substitute for advice on your specific situation.
We can only advise you properly on the basis of complete and accurate information. If you provide misleading or incomplete information, we may decline to act or cease acting, and our advice may be affected.
8. Liability
[Insert liability provisions before launch, ideally with legal advice — for example: nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law; we are not liable for decisions made by the Home Office; our liability for website content is limited, etc.]
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were most recently revised. Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
